ExplainatorData Deletion

Files are deleted automatically within 4 days. Every video, image, audio file and upload on our servers is removed at most 4 days after it was made. Explainator is a production line, not a storage service — download and back up everything you want to keep, straight away.
What is deleted automatically

Deleted files cannot be recovered by us. Posts already published to a social platform are not affected — they stay on that platform until you remove them.
Delete your account and all your data
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Explainator account". We confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. This removes:
- your account, email address, settings and upload schedule;
- every remaining video, image, audio file and upload;
- your stored API keys;
- your content history (titles, scripts and captions).
We keep only what the law requires us to (for example billing records), and nothing else.
Remove posts from social platforms
For videos published through Explainator, use Remove from socials on the published video: Facebook and YouTube posts are deleted for you. Instagram, Threads and TikTok do not allow apps to delete posts — remove those in the platform's own app.
Disconnect your social accounts
You can stop Explainator from posting at any time:
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings → Security and login → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → remove the app.
- Threads: Threads Settings → Account → Website permissions → remove the app.
- YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove access.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → remove the app.
When a platform tells us you removed the app, we delete the data we received from that platform for your account.
